The Opportunity

The Mount Private Hospital is currently seeking a professional and customer focused Supply Officer to join their busy team of professionals on a full-time basis.

Reporting directly to the Supply Team Leader, this position is responsible for assisting with the supply management of the hospital. The position also includes handling supply & imprest queries as well as general duties in our logistics area.

About You

You will be a professional Officer with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric focus. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and promoting positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff as required to create an experience that makes a difference.

Expected tasks may include:

  • Restock ward imprest areas to maintain agreed par levels and ensure essential supplies are readily available for clinical teams
  • Collaborate closely with Nurse Unit Managers and ward staff to identify, review, and maintain appropriate stock levels in different locations
  • Pick and pack required stock items accurately from the site warehouse
  • Deliver stocked items to designated hospital imprest locations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Monitor and update Nurse Unit Managers on any stock backorders, shortages, delays, or supply issues, escalating as needed
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits to verify accuracy, identify discrepancies, and manage expiries
  • Rotate stock to minimize waste from expired products and ensure oldest usable items are used first
  • Report any damaged, faulty, or recalled items and assist with the quarantine process
  • Support periodic stocktakes
