The Opportunity
Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care? Mount Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join our established nursing team.
Key functions include:
· Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures
· Providing exceptional customer service and person-centred and evidence-based care
· Providing supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates, AINs/PSAs and students
· Working as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team, managing own work time and personal well-being
· Participating in quality improvement projects to support best practice outcomes
About You
You will be a experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a supportive multidisciplinary environment across multiple specialities and have a understanding of patient care in a private hospital setting.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration (essential)
- At least 3 years’ experience working in an acute surgical/ medical environment or similar
- A willingness and availability to work across all shifts, including day, afternoon and night duty shifts
- A commitment to providing excellent patient-centred care
- An ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and model Healthscope’s values
- Experience in intensive care, cardiology and general surgery (desirable)
