Knox Private Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne’s east and outer east.
We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Backed by the latest technology and expertise, we offer 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.
All supported by the expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit. Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be.
As an ANUM – your responsibilities will include:
· Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
· Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
· Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
· Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources
· Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
· Undertaking direct patient care, as required
· Mentoring of staff
Selection Criteria:
· Current Registration with AHPRA
· Working with Childrens check
· Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)
· Sound clinical knowledge
· 3 years of clinical/surgical experience
· Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
· Positive role modelling behaviours
· Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shifts
· Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025"
