Supply Officer
Lady Davidson Private Hospital is currently seeking a Supply Officer on a permanent part-time basis. This role requires an amount of physical activity and may involve the use of motorised equipment.
About the Hospital:
Lady Davidson is the largest private teaching rehabilitation facility in Australia with 115 patient-beds for both veterans and private patients. We have 4 rehabilitation units under the care of Rehabilitation Physicians who specialise in Orthopaedic, Neurology, Spine and Cancer rehabilitation. Every patient is individually assessed and a tailored program developed to meet their rehabilitation needs. As a Supply Officer your responsibilities will include:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with the supply management of hospital wards and other areas within the hospital. The position also includes handling supply & imprest queries as well as general duties in our logistics area (including scanning, picking, processing, unloading, putting away, labelling, reconciling stock, and associated clerical duties), cleaning store areas, and assisting with imprest reviews and stocktakes. The position is hands on and requires a high level of physical work.
Essential Criteria:
- Ability to work within constraints of a set financial budget
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proven time management and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role (desired)
- Medical product knowledge (desired)
