Physiotherapist - HP3
Full Time Position until July 2026
76 hours/fortnight
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced rehabilitation physiotherapist to join the friendly, supportive and highly skilled team at the National Capital Private Hospital.
The National Capital Private Hospital is a modern, progressive acute medical, surgical and rehabilitation hospital of 152 beds located in the southern suburbs of Canberra. The hospital provides a range of acute and medical services including orthopaedics, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, and geriatric medicine. Rehabilitation patients are referred from all acute areas of the hospital as well as surrounding hospitals in the greater ACT/ Southern NSW region.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate rehabilitation physiotherapist to join our team for a 12month period.

Selection Criteria
- Current physiotherapy registration as recognised by AHPRA.
- Experience in working with hospital inpatients and commitment to providing a high level of patient care.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborating effectively with the MDT.
- Knowledge of discharge planning pathways.
- Commitment to quality improvement with evidence of implementing.
- Experience in supervision and mentoring of junior staff and students.
Preferred Skills
- FIM trained
- Demonstrated skill in hospital wide education and advocacy for Allied Health
