Kitchen Hand - Part Time

Northern Beaches Hospital is looking to employ a part time (30 hours per week) Kitchen Hand to join their busy Food Services department. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
Offering $28.43 Monday to Friday, $42.64 on Saturdays & $49.75 on Sundays. This role is based on a rotational roster, working across 7 days of the week with no set days off.
As a Kitchen Hand your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment for all food service related areas of the hospital
- Basic food preparation
- Cleaning duties, including fridges and preparation areas, kitchen area and dish wash area
- Monitoring and recording of all relevant food safety data
- General cleaning and sanitising of all areas of food preparation areas.
Northern Beaches Hospital is a fully licensed private hospital, providing care to public and private patients from an outstanding facility with a large range of quality services provided by exceptional nurses, doctors and staff.
Selection Criteria:
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements & hold a basic food handlers certificate
- Flexible to work both morning and evening shits across a 7 day rotating roster
- Track record of providing great service and customer experience
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
