An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Health Information Services Officer to join our team.
Prince of Wales Private is seeking an experienced administrator to join our team on a permanent full time basis. In this fast paced and varied environment you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
As a Health Information Services Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Medical record retrieval
- Provision of health information to internal and external clients
- Filing of paperwork
- Filing and culling of medical records
- Day to day functionality of the Health Information Service Department
- Participating in performance improvement activities
Essential Criteria:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Proficient in use of email, web based applications and Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Flexibility in responding to the changing needs of the business
- Commitment to document security and patient privacy
- Experience with the WebPAS patient information system (Desirable)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or record keeping environment (Desirable)
- Previous experience in Health Information Services (Desirable)
