Enrolled Nurse - Transition to Acute Care
Transition to Acuity - Ward Specialty: Surgical / Bariatric / Gynae / Paediatrics
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently seeking Enrolled Nurses from Aged Care backgrounds to join our Transition to Acute Care Program. The program aims to facilitate your transition from Aged Care to an Acute environment.
The program will run for a period of 6 weeks, including weekly education sessions targeting “Back to Basics” clinical skills.
The first 2 weeks of the program will be supernumerary with preceptorship throughout the entirety of the program and beyond.
Our program has been designed to:
- Provide broad exposure to acute medical and surgical care
- Build your confidence while expanding your clinical skillset
- Strengthen your capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Refine decision-making abilities and sharpen critical thinking
- Support you in finding fulfilment and satisfaction in your nursing career

· Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
