An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Director of Nursing with extensive knowledge of the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards and their application in the acute mental health setting to join our executive team.
The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership, strategic direction and operational management while fostering strong relationships with doctors and key stakeholders. As part of the executive team, this role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services and outcomes with a sustainable model of care, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and care standards.

Selection Criteria:
- Extensive experience in clinical nursing and management at a senior level experience is a mandatory requirement
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency
- Strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes
- Consultative leadership style and ability to build rapport and effectively relate with all stakeholders
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, conflict management and negotiation skills
- Well-developed financial and analytical skills, ability to manage KPIs, strategic planning, and promote and positively implement a patient-focussed care model
- Post-Graduate qualifications in Health Management would be advantageous
