Hobart Private Hospital is seeking post grad qualified nurses to join our Coronary Care / High Dependency ward to help shape not only what high quality patient care looks like on our wards, but also what a rewarding nursing career looks like for our more junior nurses. We are a 25 bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) for acute cardiac, medical and high dependency surgical care. With the largest private cardiology service in Tasmania, we manage cardiac emergencies and provide ongoing care in our dedicated coronary care area.

- Provide evidence-based care, ensuring patient and staff safety
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Support your team members to deliver family centred care
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their care
Essential Criteria:
- Specialised nursing experience in cardiology/critical care
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in cardiology/critical care
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Vulnerable People check
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills
